I am looking after a network of servers that monitor satellite communications equipment. Our application uses the standard SNMP ports 161 and 162 for northbound communication to an element management system.
Because these ports are in use at the application level I can't enable Windows SNMP services using the standard ports. I've installed OMSA on one server and OME on a client, and I can connect using WMI but this doesn't give me detailed status like power supply and fan health.
Can OME / OMSA be configured to use other ports for SNMP? How can I used OME to monitor these servers in detail while my application continues to use the default SNMP ports?
