I have installed ESX5.5 on Dell Precision T7610 with this hardware configuration : CPU cores : 16 CPU 2.593 GHz processor socket : 2 Memory : 64 GB
Disks: 1- Disk SSD 500GB ( ESX5.5 installed on this disk)
2- Disk no SSD Disk ATA serial attached scsi disk (Seagate 1000GB)
every thinks is working fine except on disk 2 when I’m trying to deploy VM on th is disk Seagate storage (ATA serial attached scsi disk), the operation failed and the second disk is any more recognized by the server ,
I have to reboot the machine.
I don't know if ESX5.5 is not supported on Precision T7610 , or the Disk no SSD Disk ATA serial attached scsi disk (Seagate 1000GB) is not support on Precision T7610
