After upgrading to 2.0x, my system discoveries continued to work but, eventually, the servers stopped displaying any available updates when I know there are some to be deployed. The servers show up in the out-of-compliance list but no updates are displayed when the server is selected.
I opened a support incident regarding this and I was told that we should not try to discover our ESX hosts with both the iDRAC and the OSMA agent. We have always done it that way and OME would correlate the two to create a single entry.
I noticed that the problem servers show that they have two update paths, in-band and out-of-band, whereas the functioning servers only show out-of-band.
After deleting everything and recreating the discovery tasks, it seemed to be working again, but now after a few updates, they are showing up as blank.
The troubleshooting tool shows everything is communicating.
