I know this subject comes frequently, but it is very annoying that OME doesn't list all the updates needed by a server. For example, I had to apply a few updates to a R720xd, one of it including a reboot (BIOS). So I plan a maintenance, do the updates and reboot the server. Then a few hours later, OME lists a network firmware update, that needs a reboot too! Why this update wasn't listed the first time?
I have this problem with different servers (R620, R720, R630, R730) and most of the time OME will not list all the updates. However, updates are different each time (was the case for the NIC firmware update, but it can be a PSU firmware update or a DRAC update, or anything else).
It is so frustrating as I have a hard time to get maintenance approval from the different teams.
