I am attempting to discover newly installed M630 servers in OME, and the majority of them are failing to be discovered, because what I have found is that some iDRACs are "stealing" the identity of others.
When you come across a discovered item in OME, looking in the properties of it, it shows 2 or more iDRAC.Embedded.1 objects under the NIC Information heading. It is generally the address of the iDRAC directly above or below (1+9, 2+10 etc), but some have been found to contain addresses for completely different chassis, up to 5 addresses.
I initially discovered it after upgrading from 2.05.05.05 to 2.10.10.10, and the issue was most prevalent there, but some of the 2.05.05.05 seem to be displaying this behavior still. This leads me to believe there is some king of issue with OME and iDRAC v2/iDRAC8.
Not expecting a fix to this anytime soon, but you should be aware that there is an issue present.
