iDRAC7: SNMPv2 test trap is invalid

I have iDRAC7 v1.40.40 on an R720.  SNMP version is v2.  I click 'Send' to send a test trap but the trap is considered invalid by NetCool and is ignored.  Real traps work OK.

The reason the test trap is considered invalid is that it doesn't contain the mandatory sysUpTime or snmpTrapOID bindings.  RFC 3416 says:

The first two variable bindings in the variable binding list of an SNMPv2-Trap-PDU are sysUpTime.0 [RFC3418] and snmpTrapOID.0 [RFC3418] respectively.

WireShark tells me the test trap packets are malformed, regardless of which SNMP version is selected.

I tried upgrading to iDRAC7 v1.66.65, but that doesn't seem to send anything at all when I ask it to send a test trap.  I rolled back.

Is there a fix for this problem?
