When can we expect an updated OME that does not use Silverlight?

We will will soon be restricted for using the Silverlight plugin in both IE and Firefox because of upcoming security changes.  When will OME get an upgrade that does not rely on Silverlight?  This will become a serious issue if it is not addressed.
