We're experiencing an issue where regardless of OMSA version (I tested 8.5 and older) when starting DSM services on host attached to an EF560, OMSA generates an event and trap regarding a failed drive:
Device failed: Physical Disk 1:4 Controller 2, Connector 1
Event ID: 2048
Trap OID 904
The EF560 is attached via SAS HBA. Any of our clusters that has this device attached will generate this error and trap if services are started, so it is definitely a false positive and definitely isolated to this type of NetApp device. Any of our clusters attached to a Dell MD do not exhibit the issue.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on how to remedy it?
