I have a number of systems monitored in OME that (after a while) go to an "unknown" status. These are mostly PowerEdge 1955 servers running Windows 2008 R2 and OMSA 7.2.0 (64-bit). I have verified BIOS (1.4.4) and BMC (2.50.00) are the latest version available. I have also verified that the 1955 is a supported platform in OME 1.1 as per the support matrix. (It's funny, because I have a bunch of 2650s and 2850s with Windows 2003 that keep reporting just file!)
Anyway, how do I go about finding out why these systems go "unknown" and how do I "get them back?" Are there log files I can check?
Please note: these are NOT ESXi 5.x systems (I have already implemented the "workaround" as documented in the "ESXi 5.1 - Becoming Unknown after period of time" forum thread on all of my ESXi servers; that works great.)
