Firstly, I've tried installing patch 1.1.1 which seemed to complete successfully. However, when I open OME and go to "About" it's saying 1.1.0.6063. I've tried applying the patch twice with the same results.
Also, I've been having the same issue as others where servers are reporting down when they aren't actually going down or up, but reducing the Discovery/Inventory/Status speed has seemed to eliminate this issue for 5 days running now.
Lastly, I've been getting unkown status randomly on any number of my monitored servers. I looked into the help manual and re-created my Discovery ranges where my servers with OMSA installed are polled with SNMP and WMI, my servers without OMSA are polled with WMI only, and my DRAC's and BMC's are polled with SNMP and IPMI. Previously I had all discovery methods (with the exception of WS-MAN) for all servers and DRAC's/BMC's.
When I re-created these Discovery ranges, I only ran one Discovery and subsequently only ran Inventory/Status polling. This resolved my servers going to unkown status. Yesterday, I turned Discovery on every 3 hours and now my some of my servers are going to unkown status again. Sometimes a few of them will come back to green status but never all of them. So my assessment is that the Discovery is causing the servers to go to unkown status and not the inventory or status polling. Also, I have the Discovery/Inventory/Polling speeds set to the slowest possible.
