This question may need to be moved to the suggestion side, but I'm currently at a stand still when it comes to the alert side of this software. Not because SMTP isn't legitimate, but my enterprise/organization does not want to delve into getting a SMTP/Exchange server due to security requirements that won't be worth their time dealing with.
Is there another method down the line, or a method that I don't know of, that could utilize a messaging system (Lync/Communicator/whatever) to display alerts in? Or maybe some Dell Software that can alert our sysadmins of a problem? Just curious if Dell has any solution other then SMTP to alert of server errors. Thanks for any feed back!
