I have been tasked with setting up OpenManage for our Business Unit. I have one server that will not report in after I have setup SNMP and also install the OpenManage software. From the Essentials servers I can use the troubleshooting tool and can successfully complete the following: ICMP, Name Resolution, and SNMP to the server I’m having trouble with. I installed the Troubleshooting tool on the server that I am having issues with and can successfully complete the following: ICMP, Name Resolution, and SNMP to the Essentials box. So the network part seems to be ok, but still when I run a discovery it will not show up. I have turned on Network Discovery on both servers still no luck.
The Windows Firewall is off on both servers.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
