I have tried to upgrade my existing Dell OME app from v1.0.1.1253 to v1.1 (latest release). But at both the times I faced following issue:
=>During install progress, at the end the installation failed with error message (I didn't recorded as it was quite generic)..
=>I found that the installation removed (or uninstalled) the existing OME, as when I started with the installation once again, it started as fresh
=>Later I checked & found to my surprise that the SQL DB for OME was completely removed
=>Fortunately for both the above situation I had backups & was able to recover both the systems to make them functional.
FYI...
I have read the OME Installation guide & have followed all the pre-requisites before installation.
Can you please advise what could be the issue for the upgrade & guide me to perform seamless upgrade.
