We have Discovered our server blades ( M600 and M610 ) and chassis using OME, but some of the blades are listed as being in chassis with service tags that are not ours - in fact if we put the service tag into the dell warranty information web site it says that they were delivered to Ireland and Poland, which I guess are Dell's build and testing centers. Often they are listed with two rows in the 'Slot Information' section, with the second row being the current chassis.
We are running OME 1.2.1 and the CMC on the chassis is the latest 4.45. Unfortunately the other firmware on the blades are of various versions, and the window of rebooting the servers is limited.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Anyone know how the blade gets its chassis info, where it is stored and if we can clear it? What will happen if we move the blades between our own chassis?
