Excluded IP Address ranges still sending error messages to OME.

Hi, my customer is experiencing issues with excluded address ranges still creating alerts within OME.  These systems are desktop systems and are creating "unknow events" within OME about every 5 seconds.  I have tried deleting and re-creating the exclusion for the IP address range, and also deleting the discovery range they fall within.   The alerts still keep coming.

Any help would be appreciated! :)
