My apologies if this is the wrong forum, but can anybody advise about tools for SQL Server 2005 Management? Specifically, I want to change from full to simple recovery mode. And the advice I have to date is that I need "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Studio". The problem is that Microsoft only appear to have "SQL Server 2005 Express". For the std (non express) version, I'm told the tool is on the original installation DVD. But it's not on my "W2008 Std x64 installation". So, can anyone advise how I can get a hold of the appropriate Management Studio package? Alternatively, can anybody advise another method (step-by-step, please)?
The Server in question is a PE2900, Windows Server 2008 standard, x64, running SQL Server 2005 for: BackupExec 2012, TrendMicro WFBS-A v7 ScanMail and Sharepoint Services (wss3.0). The SQL database for Sharepoint is the default, namely Microsoft##SSEE.
Thanks
