I have a new installation of OMSE I'm trying to get running. Pre-req check shows clean. I had to manually install SQL 2012 SP1 as the installation link in the OMSE installer never seemed to do anything. I configured SQL in mixed mode authentication using my domain current user and domain admins as having access, along with an SA password. OMSE is being installed on Windows 8, SQL 2012 SP1.
During install, I set it to install to my local SQL DB. Install seems to go fine. However when trying to launch Essentials, I can never get it to login. It defaults to my name, but both my login and/or any domain admin login doesn't work. Tried the local admin on the local machine, same thing.
This is the first time I've ran in to this problem. I uninstalled everything and redid it from scratch, same results. Suggestions anyone? Thanks!
