I have a client base of approximately 165 clients who use Dell server equipment that are all on separate domains, and the only communication we have to them is by opening ports through their firewall. I was wanting to use OME to track hardware issues from a single console at my facility so if a hard drive goes out in one of the cities, we would know about it before a second hard drive crash and the client loses data. Or any other number of technical issues.
I looked late last year and couldn't find that OME can do this. Is that still the case or can OME be used to monitor remote servers that don't reside on your network?
