I've been trying to manage a Dell 2950 ESXi 5.1 host from OME and I just can't seem to get the inventory part to run correctly. OME detects the server but it still shows in the "Non-inventoried" systems under System Update. I've tried installing both OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-7.3.0-333_A00.VIB-ESX51i.zip and OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-7.4.0-876.VIB-ESX51i_A00.zip in case there was a bug in one. I've configured and reconfigured all of the options Discovery and Inventory for the ip addresses where both the DRAC and ESX live including almost every combinations possible. SSH is enabled on the ESXi hosts and the DRAC5 is working correctly. I've beenat this for two days now and still haven't made any progress. I read something about enabling a CIM OEM option on the ESX host under advanced options but it doesn't seem to exist on an ESX 5.1 host. I'm not sure what else to try at this point.
