Deploying Dell Connection License Manager issues

Hi,

I'm currently struggling with deploying Dell Connections License Manager in an environment that needs the SCOM Out-of-band monitoring.

I cannot get the software to connect to the remote MSSQL database that holds the data.

I keep getting the error "Error occurred while preforming database operations".

I have validated the connection, the credentials of the user logging in (i see no connection i SQL log). 

Also the database is setup strange - since the tablenames are DOMAIN\SERVER\$.LicenseData.

Please note that the database is hosted on a SQL instance - i don't think that changes anything?

Has anybody gotten it to work with a remote DB?

-Also the documentation is somewhat lacking - to be honest!
