OME, receiving alerts from ESXi hosts

Hello.

I need to clarify way of getting failed HW alerts from ESXi 5.1 host to OME.

I have hosts with VIB for ESXi 5.1 installed, discovered via OME, I can see all HW status and health in OME.

I have nor set SNMP alerting on hosts. Will I get an alert when host disk(or other hw) is failed ? Or should I also set SNMP alerts on ESXi host. I need to run script when alert comes to OME.
