OME and Broadcom NIC updates

Do you know whether OME will “step” the NIC updates to 7.10.18? If I update via the LifeCycle Controller it steps to 7.8.53 first before going to 7.10.18, a necessary step according to Dell's documentation. I need to be sure that OME will do the same thing before I try updating the NIC firmware.
