OME Upgrade from 1.0.1

HI

Im looking to upgarde a current OME 1.0.1 enviroment to 2.0. I have run all the Pre-req's that are needed,

Am I right in thinking that I need to unistall the old (1.0.1) version before I can run the 2.0 Install.

Also - will i have to re-discover all hardware in my firms Network, we run a wide range old old legacy generation servers right through to latest models.
