Hi guys,
I am trying to add two Dell servers (RHEL6 based) to OME 1.1.1. However, I found that adding one will remove another all the time.
I checked the application log and found:
Info 22/04/2013 4:33:17 PM Device name change has been detected (old name: omega-0-3.local, new name:omega-0-4.local, internal ID: -355527475)
Info 22/04/2013 4:33:17 PM Discovery is re-using the database entry for Device omega-0-4.local based on name only. Either discovery could not obtain MAC Address information for the device during a previous discovery or there are two devices on the network with the same name.
At the end, I found from the details page of omega-0-3, it reports two more NICs that are actually on omega-0-4.
Similar thing happens to omega-0-4, it "contains" two NICs that exist on omega-0-3.
That's why they override each other.
I tried removing both and rescan, nothing change. Any help will be much appreciated.
