I am running OME 1.1.0.6063 and have 2 machines that are, for completely unknown reason swapping name every time one or the other has their discovery/inventory conducted. Whichever one is current gets replaced every single time by the other.
- removed the record from OME (left discovery IPs)
- recurred on re-inventory/discovery
- removed from discovery range completely
- recurred on re-adding to discovery
- when fresh install 1 machine shows 4 possible NIC MACs (normal); the other shows 1 NIC with one set of MACs and a 2nd NIC with a different set of NICs
- When re-inventorying/discovery of the 2nd one, the name changes to the new one and all 8 MACs show (none of which are duplicates)
- All the machine details, alerts and such display normally for new machine
- 1 machine is on 6.4 OMSA, one is on 6.2 OMSA (going to update that next but this looks to be happening at the OME level)
It looks like some reference table is borked....
